Phil had his chemo treatment last Friday, April 13th. The treatment went well, the Dr gave Phil 20% less chemo this week because his white blood cells were on the lower end of where they want them to be but because we are planning a trip to Florida in two weeks they didn’t want to postpone the treatment all together. Phil has been doing really good since Easter at least from my perspective. He is definitely eating more and actually had a hamburger this weekend which hasn’t happened in a few months. Food actually tastes good to him for a change and he seems to have a bit more energy. Believe it or not his hair is actually growing back which is a shock to all. Phil will need to have his white blood count checked this week to make sure it hasn’t gone down which would prevent us from traveling. Phil’s next appointment will be Thursday, May 3rd the day after we get home he will have a CTscan that morning and if all looks good his chemo treatment.
Since Friday Phil’s legs are a bit weaker yesterday and today but then he was very busy this weekend because of the Gospel Fest so he is resting.
Phil will be posting about this past weekend and sending a picture from the evening so watch for that. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
