Phil was able to have his chemo treatment yesterday. His white blood cell count was right on the line of him having it or not, we are so thankful he could have it. Phil’s doing OK he’s been trying to get more calories each day so he doesn’t lose any more weight, which has really been a challenge. It’s really hard to eat when nothing sounds or tastes good I’m just very thankful he didn’t lose any more weight. Dr. Lin says everything is still looking as if the Chemo is making a dent. Phil will have his next CTscan on July 5th so we’ll know more then. The Dr. did remind us that Phil made it past the 6 month marker which is the average life expectancy of someone with Phil’s diagnosis and what I was told after his first scan. Praise the Lord he is doing so well we know this will be verbiage we hear for years to come. Keep on praying I know God is answering all our prayers.
On another note, Phil’s CD “Songs from the Heart” will be available within a month.
